This weekend all of our teams begin their seasons at the DASCHE Homeschool Tournament. We all should be proud of how the teams are coming together after a few months of practice. Results below!
As a reminder, we have a COVID-19 sick and exposure policy that we are requiring everyone to follow. If you have been exposed to someone with COVID-19, then do not attend Dallas Thunder events for 14 days.
- Exposure within 6 feet for at least 15 minutes to a person who has tested positive for COVID-19 but has not had any symptoms. Exposure includes the 48 hours before the test. For example, if I was with someone Monday for more than 15 minutes within 6 feet and Wednesday they tested positive, then I’ve been exposed.
- Exposure within 6 feet for at least 15 minutes to a person with COVID-19 who has symptoms. Exposure includes the 48 hours before symptom onset. For example, if I was with someone Monday, they showed symptoms on Wednesday and test positive Saturday, then I’m exposed because I was exposed within 48 hours of symptom onset.
NOTE: Exposure is not defined as “being exposed to someone who has been exposed”, only to someone who meets the above criteria.
Please note, a negative test does not supersede this exposure rule. Following these guidelines will reduce the risk of us having to cancel games during the season. Please read our full policy here adapted from the CDC:
