Jason Holmes
Coach Jason Holmes has eight years of coaching experience and joined the Thunder in 2023 as the High School boys coach. He has coached high school for Max Levels and 3rd-12th grade with Impact Players. He has a passion for teaching basketball and cooking for his friends and family.
Coach Holmes played high school basketball at Jasper High school in Plano. He started coaching basketball as a Sophomore in high school, and has been Coaching/Skills Training full time since graduating. He loves the process of helping players grow and learn through the game and to encourage personal growth. With the goal of not only molding well rounded basketball players, but well rounded young men.
Coach Holmes was homeschooled until the 6th grade and grew up on the mission field in Mexico and Japan. One of his favorite verses is: “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me” (Philippians 4:13)
