· About Moncrief: He has over 20 years of coaching experience including playing for University of Central Arkansas, making it to the quarterfinals of the NAIA National Championships. coaching Arkansas Express, a mens post-college touring team (many of which played professionally overseas) and many AAU spring/summer teams in his career.  He has been coaching for Dallas Thunder for the past 9 years.  Coach Moncrief and his brother Sidney (a five-time all-star player formerly with the Milwaukee Bucks of the NBA) brothers founded a basketball-training program called Back 2 Basics that teaches the basic fundamentals of basketball.

· About Coach Lemons: His passions for Jesus Christ, for basketball, and for ministry have greatly benefited Dallas Thunder’s players. His previous coaching experience (which spans high school varsity to little league) has equipped him to teach, coach, and demonstrate the game at all levels.   Coach Lemons has lived a life of service and ministry even before he completed his degree at Dallas Baptist University and is currently the co-pastor at The Refuge church in Terrell, TX.   He feels called to have a positive impact on young people and families.
