Dallas Homeschool Basketball, Inc. was founded in 2003 to provide Dallas area home schooled students with the opportunity to develop their basketball skills in a competitive basketball environment. In order to help our students strengthen their Christian walk and develop Christ-centered relationships, we combine the leadership of experienced, paid and stipend coaches with that of our Christian parents to model Christian values.

What’s Unique About the Dallas Thunder?

There are many good choices of homeschool basketball teams in the Dallas area — we know, we compete with them every year. At the same time, there are some unique attributes of the Dallas Thunder you might consider when choosing a team. We are:

HARD WORKERS
All of our teams practice together, at the same time, in the same complex, during the day — 50 practices and 100 hours of training per season.

FAMILY
We call ourselves the Thunder family — sure there are new families every year that become part of the bigger family, but once you join, you are part of the Thunder family and we’ll try our best to treat you that way.

TEACHERS
Our coaches are unique, well of course they are unique, they are our coaches — they are experienced, paid and stipend, but they all have good character, not perfect but working towards it.

DETERMINED
We are competitive but friendly — our priorities show this: 1. God 2. Family 3. School and 4. Basketball.

ROWDY
We are noisy — we like to cheer our teams at regular season games and tournaments and make some noise. We try our best to yell for our teams and not at them.
